COMMON INDIAN FLOWERING PLANTS
Plants in India which flower can be planted in summer or winter seasons.
Summer season planting is from March to May.
Winter season planting is from September to November.
They grow easily and the plants are generally green throughout the year.
They can be planted usually as seeds or as stems.
I have mentioned the popular name as well as the botanical name of each flower below. The picture is also shown of the flower with the plant leaf for easy identification.

6) DESERT ROSE:
Adenium obesum is the botanical name.

7) CROWN OF THORNS, CHRIST PLANT, CHRIST THORN, CORONA DE CRISTO:
Botanical Name is Euphorbia milii.

8) FLAMING KATY OR CHRISTMAS KATY:
Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is a herbaceous and common. Also called Kalanchoe.

Botanical name is Bougainvillea Spectabilis.

15) GOLDEN TRUMPET:
It is native to Brazil.
The botanical name is Allamanda cathartica

16) SNAPDRAGONS:
Botanical name is Antirrhinum

17) ORANGE TRUMPET CREEPER:
It is a creeper, very attractive to hummingbirds.
Botanical name is Pyrostegia venusta.
